This year, as every year, Ouh La La will be purchasing from Bordeaux 1855 Grands Crus Classés châteaux en primeur to guarantee our customers the best limited-quality and hard-to-find wines. En primeur is a French wine trade term for wine sold as a 'future' commodity before it is bottled. In the spring of every year, 6-8 months after the harvest, merchants have the opportunity to taste and puchase the wine before its maturing phase. Approximately a year after being sold en primeur, the wines are blended and bottled, and then aged another 1-2 years before being shipped.
